Jonny Crossbones: Down Hanover Wash is an ongoing adventure comic for all ages.  Follow Jonny, a young auto mechanic in a skeleton suit, as he and Gretchen Fiveash, the niece of a wealthy adventurer, navigate an eventful lakeside vacation while learning more about themselves and their unknown, shared past!

First time readers might be best served by starting at the beginning of Jonny's First adventure, Dead Man at Devil's Cove.

    At times like these, there’s something reassuring about Jonny’s consistent expression. That said, his feelings are usually clear between his body language and some careful use of those sweat bursts. Has it been a challenge to make your lead character emote?

      Intentionally so! When I started this project I intentionally shaped it so I’d have to focus on areas of drawing I felt weakest in: Cars, environments, and body language. I imagined the project first and then plugged in a character design I had that I didn’t know what I was going to do with so I’d be forced to use body language to show his emotions.

        You know, I’ve always wondered why Jonny’s the only one covered from head to toe, with no real facial features to speak of. A clever way of strengthening your drawing abilities! That said, I still wonder what’s under the suit and why he wears it, so much so that I almost DON”T want to find out! Almost…
