Down Hanover Wash – teaser
A little teaser for Jonny Crossbones II: Down Hanover Wash!
I’m still writing the story, so I won’t be posting immediately, but I’ve got a good idea of where I want things to go and I’m hoping to start posting before the end of 2023. I started posting Dead Man at Devil’s Cove about fifteen years before I finished writing it and I don’t want to do that again, so I want to nail down the script and thumbnails before I put anything up.
Thanks to everyone for reading, and I hope you like what’s next!
I can’t wait!
Hi Les,
Is your title a wink to “Done another wash” or does it mean something else ?
A wash in the context I’m using it in the title is a geographical feature, a dry riverbed that floods when it rains. In the US, they’re usually called “arroyos” but in the northeast and in the Appalachian mountains they’re often called “washes.”
Looking forward to it!
But take your time. I know it’s always worth any wait.
Jock Cruxbairn, eh? Interesting.
Cruxbairn = Cross+child?
I haven’t checked the comments in a long time, sorry for the slow reply! It’s an old British name I found that sounds a little like “Crossbones,” I thought.
Happy New Year!
Happy New year to you too!
You good, Les?
Looking forward to this.
