Dead Man at Devil’s Cove, chapter 4, page 122A
Okay gang, stop me if you’ve heard this one before: I’m spending a lot of time on another paying project and it’s slowing down my ability to get this comic done– I’m currently spending weekends on Jonny and the rest of the week on this other book but I may end up slipping. I’m uploading this comic on August 1st, so I’ve completely run out of buffer. I’ll let you know if I slip up and am not able to get the strip done one of these weeks. I’ll try, though! Only 13 updates to go and I don’t want to delay!
13 more updates, after all these years! How exciting. My Akileos volume 1 is eagerly anticipating its partner at some point.
Thanks for the update. We applreciate all of your efforts. “Don’t worry. You’ll think of something!”
Why DIDN’T Mr. Trigger-Happy just shoot them (or her)? Sure looked like he was about to! (and no, I wanted him not to! – I’m just saying: No, I understand: you had to make sure J. & G. stayed alive, Les. Just seems like a stretch/against “Gun Waver”’s nature (and forgive me for not knowing which is Andrews & which is Forsythe!) Or, what, maybe, possibly, Gretch’s boldness, and hearing Beard speak curious words next to him, took him by surprise/threw him off JUST enough not to pull the trigger.
Or maybe even HE drew the line at shooting a girl, rather than Jonny.
The best artworks always move at their own pace, no one elses. 🙂
