The answer is that this is a page I’m inserting into the beginning of chapter two.  The page immediately following is no longer available online, but you will be able to see it in context in the print edition when that comes out.

This page will be updated for the next two weeks, Tuesday and Thursday, then, on September 2nd, the story will pick up where it left off all those months ago.

I will not be taking on any other comics projects until this story is complete.  Updates will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays until you can hold the entire story bound in a print volume in your hands.

Jonny Crossbones is back!

It occurs to me that not everyone who reads this comic also reads my blog, so I thought I should make a post over here to let you all know what’s going on.

After six months of the management at my old studio saying “two more weeks, two more weeks,” we finally got tired of waiting for them to fix the flood damage and got a new place.  So I am back at work!  I did, however, decide that I wasn’t happy with the script for the rest of this story, and have been working for the last month or so on rewriting and laying out the whole book.  I’ll be starting up on drawing the final strips soon, but there will be a little bit more of a wait while I build up a backlog.

In the meantime, you could turn on your televisions and watch The Middleman  on ABC Family.  It’s based on a comic I drew and I’m co-owner of the property, so its success would be very nice for me indeed. You may also be interested in the new Collected Edition of the entire Middleman series so far.

I’m also freelancing for Hasbro designing Star Wars figures.  I’ll let you know when my designs start hitting stores.

Hi there, here I am, back from visiting my folks for Christmas, suffering from an extremely bad cold, and my studio has had absolutely no work done on it that I can see.  I can’t get any drawing done until that gets fixed, because they put all my supplies in storage when they said they’d have to take about a week to repair the water damage to the room.  That was about three weeks ago.

I’ll let you know when I can get back to work and when there will be updates.
