Looks like an interesting story, and the art work is very clean ... but there's something I find quite disconcerting: it looks like it's been drawn by Hergé! I mean, not just in overall impression, but all the little details, it's really quite spooky. Why? His drawing style is classic and very clear, and the story you're writing seems like it might have been out of Tintin, but why such a close copy?!

Anyhow, nice work in your homage to Tintin ;)

Basically the water came up from underneath, so the underside of the laminate flooring was destroyed, but the top surface wasn't.

Ho~oly sheet.

I have a bit of trouble understanding how your floor was destroyed while the stuff on the floor was fine, but I'm glad it is as you say.
Flooding sure does strike out of nowhere sometimes, and it sure always surprises me just how damaging even minor flooding can be!

You don't sound so crazy, though, so I guess all is reasonably well...

Your own font is very legible, so I see no issue here.

Also, chains are a pain.

I hope the show is good, I hope that you receive all the credit (and financial rewards) that you deserve and I really, really hope for more Middle Man comics.

I mean The Tick animated series was coolness, but the comic was brilliant.

Well, up to issue 11...
