Jonny Crossbones: Dead Man at Devil's Cove is an ongoing adventure comic for all ages. Follow Jonny, a young auto mechanic in a skeleton suit, as he and Gretchen Fiveash, the niece of a wealthy adventurer, set out on a globetrotting hunt for pirate treasure!
First time readers might be best served by starting at the beginning of Chapter One.

I despair at ever learning if Jonny washes his skeleton suit – it must be getting pretty rank by this time. Pirates can probably smell him coming, which says a lot.
And why is his skeleton suit fetish ignored and/or accepted by the populace in general? We don’t see any other costumed mechanics running around chasing pirate treasure.
So many questions, so many weeks without an update . . .
Perhaps I’m dimwitted, or just not paying attention. Your daily blog stops at December 23rd, and this update was from November of last year… here it is the end of February. Have I missed something?
No way. I’ll keep checking in until I see an update. We’ve got to remember, webcomic artists have to pay the bills, too. I’m sure Les is just working on stuff that pays. The free stuff has to take a back seat. I’m just happy that Jonny exists and I know Les will continue it when time allows. Can’t WAIT until it’s available in hard copy to buy.
a bit, actually. the last this happened it was a flood in the studio. i’m starting to wonder if HE is okay. I mailed him, but does anyone have his phone number?
If work is keeping away artist from his webcomic, then maybe the webcomic should start generating profit as well. Though I don’t see any way for Jonny Crossbones other than books and prints and book one is still not finished.
Well you can always contribute to Les through Paypal, I’m sure. I did get an email from him last Thursday in answer to a fan-email I sent. He sounds fine, but busy with a lot of freelance work.
John, you should email him. I have stuff fall through the cracks like that when I’m doing artistic stuff and I really appreciate when people remind me of what I said I’d do.
Me too, but I don’t mind. I figure even if I never receive my sketch, the money I sent him could be my payment for reading so much of Jonny for free all this time. Kinda expensive maybe, but ya know, its easily the best comic out here. Wish we had more of it, but that goes right back to him spending so much of his time doing this for free as well. I really do think maybe he should charge for Jonny. I don’t mind paying at all. Its good work.
Well the reason I sent money for a sketch is because he said it help pay the bills and I really like his work, so I supported it, and would have done so more, but. . . . . .

I’m hoping it’s The Tick that’s keeping him away from us and not something worse.

Well, yeah, if you’ve emailed that many times, then I can’t blame you for being frustrated. I bet he’ll eventually get to it, though.
