The whole sense of this being the latest in a long history of adventures is just wonderful. Come to think of it, there were similar but different references to earlier generations of adventurers in "The Middle Man," and in "Highway 13" too! I've got to redo all these at a larger size at some point. But I need to redesign the site to do that. Maybe I'll do that as a weekend project. It's a wonderful contrast to the flat colours of "the present" (which I love as well!). Even the photograph is a picture in a picture, with the physical object itself having no shading, setting it in the now. Sorry. I'm babbling. I just love seeing thought go in to wonderful execution.
