I am not trying to be nitpicky or anything… but would a secret room have a window? Seems like if the inheritors were so greedy as to gut the house of other contents, they would hardly miss this room if you could look into it from the outside. Unless of course there is some reason within the story not yet revealed. Sorry it just struck me as strange. That is indeed a very awesome Jonny panel, and love all the details of this room in general it makes me want to hear of those other Uncle Mike adventures that all the bric brac represent.
LOL nice Haggis. I guess we just have to conclude either that there was some artistic license, or that the window is actually a painting on the wall. God I hope no one is this critical when I do my comic… umm sorry Les I will shut up now.
Yes, that pistol rocks absolutely love the detail.
I’m gonna subscribe to the painting of a window theory. It’s really beautifully done. It’s probably from Uncle Mike’s Adventure of the Deceptive Window!
What do you mean by first floor, Haggis? (They’re different in the UK and America – in UK it means one floor up (bottom is ground floor) – in America it means bottom floor.)
I’d say the previous scenes make it possible its upstairs.
back on the panel with the blueprint someone offpanel said We searched the whole floor so it must have been Jonny or Gretchen since they worked together. Which means it was on the floor they checked so the first or ground floor.

Wait – the secret room has a window?

It looks like the trees are right next to it. I doubt anyone could see it unless A. They were in the trees, or B. hanging out of another window.

its a secret window too.

Good point Haggis. I cannot remember whether this is on the ground floor, or a second floor which would also make a difference.

I don’t know, that looks like a shrubbery. Obviously this secret room wasn’t constructed until after the bad guys started squatting in the house.

Actually now that I look though the at the pages with the blue prints it seems it on the first floor which ruins my theory. M
My new theory is that the house was built on the edge of a unmentioned and unnoticed cliff.
A Haunted cliff. With trained attack raccoons.

does anyone else think that’s a sweetass pistol? Check out the little doodad on the end of the stock.

Remember, they weren’t looking for a secret room, so why would they carefully count the windows?

American so I mean 1st = ground.

Well, the blueprint has a window marked in the “secret” room, so the painted window sounds unlikely.

You’re right, Haggis. I forgot it said earlier which floors each person was searching.

I figure the government folks just weren’t that thorough. They left a lot of miscellaneous furniture, rugs, etc. around, too.
