Jonny Crossbones: Dead Man at Devil's Cove is an ongoing adventure comic for all ages. Follow Jonny, a young auto mechanic in a skeleton suit, as he and Gretchen Fiveash, the niece of a wealthy adventurer, set out on a globetrotting hunt for pirate treasure!
First time readers might be best served by starting at the beginning of Chapter One.

I love the fact that this and the last strip show very subtly aspects of Jonnny’s “skeleton face” – when he sleeps the “eyes” close, but when he eats the “teeth” are bulging like a cheek would, and aren’t acting like real teeth! It all adds to the mystery!
@Simon, I wonder if the mystery precludes a Jonny Crossbones animated series. They’d always have to show him from behind while he was talking or something.
I think his pirate ancestory is so strong the Jolly Roger was sewn directly into his DNA… or maybe his great great great grandpa was lonely one night and the only one around was the ship’s flag…

The most hilarious thing about Jonny, is that no-one seems to think twice about the skeleton get-up.
I bet Jonny took a vow of eternal skeletonious-ness, lost a bet or something similar.
