I watched for a bit, but had to get back to real life, as you were too funny/distracting. A picture of you in the hockey helmet/webcam getup should absolutely be published by someone somewhere.

This may be a dumb spot to ask this–but I didn’t see any other–are the Middleman comics the same one the TV series was based on? I loved that goofy show but it doesn’t seem to be on any more!

Yes, those are the ones the show was based on. I’m glad you liked the show! It isn’t on any more, but there is a DVD set of the whole series coming out on July 27th. We’re also doing a new comic that takes the place of the 13th episode and ties up some loose ends the show left dangling.

My webcam stopped working! I’m not sure what happened, but it just froze up.

I was listening to music and not talking.

Couldn’t watch live, but have caught up on the recordings – amazing to see the leap from blank page to today’s final finished strip!
Also the in-studio banter brought this to mind: http://alienlovespredator.com/2004/10/12/the-celebrity-preston-resembles/

Les, do you have a regular-ish work schedule so I know when to catch one of your feeds?

  9. Les McClaine

I’m still feeling it out. I’ll probably schedule like two hours a week or something as soon as I figure that out. I don’t want to oversaturate.

sounds good. p.s. afternoons after 4 p.m. Central time are best for me.
