Jonny Crossbones: Dead Man at Devil's Cove is an ongoing adventure comic for all ages. Follow Jonny, a young auto mechanic in a skeleton suit, as he and Gretchen Fiveash, the niece of a wealthy adventurer, set out on a globetrotting hunt for pirate treasure!
First time readers might be best served by starting at the beginning of Chapter One.
Jonny Crossbones: Dead Man at Devil's Cove is coming soon to comic book shops and bookstores from Dark Horse Comics! As a condition of my publishing agreement, I have to limit the archives to Chapter One and the most recent month of comic strips. A glance at the Recap Page will catch you quickly up to speed!
I redrew that background three times. I do not recommend this course of action to others.

better than re-drawing entire pages which seems to be what I end up doing.

I dig the changing clouds, though, that bit at the very least you have to admit is the right way to do things.

Definitely looks great, though!

yeah, the clouds make it.
the slight curve on the building in the back left is pretty sweet too.

Arkonbey:
I scrapped about twenty pages of layouts on this, so I’m kind of doing the same thing as you, too.
Jason:
I do think it’s the right way to do things; I’m making myself not cheat on this book. The linework has to be complete on the original pages.
Lynn:
Thanks!
James:
Yeah, the buildings in the reference photo I used were all leaning at different angles and I liked that aspect, so I exaggerated it a little.
